INDONESIA ON GOOGLE EARTH

Celebrating the 64th Indonesia Independence day, i'd like to show the picture off Indonesia via Google Earth. There are many interesting place that i found but i will only show few off them...

1. Garuda Pancasila in Cileungsi
This building it's originally named Graha Garuda Tiara and you can located on your Google Earth in S 6.417919 E 106.957672 coordinate

2. Krakatoa (krakatau)

The Mountain that lay on sunda straight was had a massive explotion in 1883 and was a biggest mountain erruption ever.

3. Indonesian Mini Archipelago on TMII
The mini indonesian archipelago in TMII that's look beautifull from above. The coordinate is 6°18'6.04"S 106°53'47.53"E.


4. Pulau Bungin

Bungin islands in the Kecamatan Alas Kabupaten Sumbawa NTB , a small artificial island in excess of the world most populous island with a density of 36,000 people/km2 while Java islands, only about 813 or people/km2 Bungin island density with the density 44 times Java. The island is only 8 hectares of plantation has a population of as many as 2800 poeples and can be accessed at coordinates 8 ° 28'37 .69 "S 116 ° 59'43 .25" E.

5. The Kapuas River (Sungai Kapuas)

The Kapuas River (Sungai Kapuas) is located in West Kalimantan, Indonesia. At approximately 1,143 km, it is the longest river in Indonesia, and is the major river of the western portion of Borneo. It is also the world's longest river on an island, a little longer than Sepik River.


6. Lake Toba
Lake Toba (Danau Toba) is a lake and supervolcano, 100 kilometres long and 30 kilometres wide, and 505 metres (1,666 ft) at its deepest point. Located in the middle of the northern part of the Indonesian Island of Sumatra with a surface elevation of about 900 metres (2,953 ft), the lake stretches from 2°53′N 98°31′E / 2.88°N 98.52°E / 2.88; 98.52 to 2°21′N 99°06′E / 2.35°N 99.1°E / 2.35; 99.1. It is the largest volcanic lake in the world.


7. Bromo Mountain

Mount Bromo, is an active Volcano and part of the Tengger massif, in East Java, Indonesia. At 2,329 meters it is not the highest peak of the massif, but it is the most well known.

Penyanyi Indonesia (Shandy Sondoro) Juarai Festival New Wave 2009 di Latvia

Penyanyi Indonesia Shandy Sondoro dan penyanyi Ukraina, Jamala (Susana Jamaladinova) akhirnya ditetapkan sebagai juara bersama pada festival penyanyi muda internasional New Wave 2009 yang diadakan di pantai Yurmala, Latvia. Keduanya berhak atas hadiah masing-masing 50.000 euro.

Siaran pers Kedubes Indonesia untuk Ukraina yang diterima di Jakarta, Rabu, menyebutkan, persaingan Shandy dan Jamala sudah nampak sejak hari pertama lomba yang disiarkan langsung TV Ukraina dari Latvia. Hari pertama Shandy menyanyikan lagu "When a Man Loves a Woman" memperoleh nilai 119 sedangkan pada hari kedua Shandy membawakan lagu ciptaannya sendiri "Kasihku" dengan perolehan nilai 238.

Jamala yang difavoritkan karena lengking suaranya yang khas, juga memperoleh nilai 238 hingga hari kedua. Pada hari ketiga, lagu "End of Rainbow" yang diciptakan Shandy memperoleh standing ovation penonton dan keseluruhan 12 juri memberi nilai sempurna, 10, sehingga nilainya menjadi 358. Hal sama juga diperoleh Jamala.

Terdapatnya dua pemenang pertama merupakan sejarah baru festival New Wave sejak diselenggarakan tahun 2002. Sebagaimana dilansir koran Segodnya di Kyiv, sejam sebelum acara pemberian hadiah pihak panitia akhirnya sepakat menambah hadiah 50.000 euro yang sebagian di antaranya dikeluarkan dari kocek pribadi Igor Krutoi, ketua juri yang pro Shandy.

Tempat kedua lomba diraih penyanyi Italia, Antonello Karozza dengan hadiah 30.000 euro dan tempat ketiga, Mark Yusim dari Rusia, memperoleh 15.000 euro.

Legenda musik Rusia, Alla Pugacheva juga menyerahkan hadiah khusus Golden Star Alla dan uang USD 50.000 kepada penyanyi Ukraina, Mila Nitic.

"Bagi saya kemenangan bukanlah hal utama; yang terpenting adalah sambutan publik (Latvia) yang luar biasa, yang benar-benar diluar dugaan saya," ujar Shandy sebagaimana dikutip dari koran Segodnya.

Festival penyanyi muda internasional New Wave 2009 diikuti peserta dari Latvia, Kazakhstan, Cina, Italia, Indonesia, Polandia, Finlandia, Perancis, Ukraina dan Rusia. Festival ini yang diadakan setahun sekali di pantai Yurmala, Latvia sangat popular di belahan Eropa Timur khususnya negara eks Uni Soviet.

Juri lomba terdiri dari selebritis terkemuka Rusia, seperti Valery meladze, Nikolay Baskov, Igor Krutiy, Alla Pugachova, dan Filip Kirkorov.

Penyelenggaraan festival sempat diwarnai protes delegasi Cina yang tidak puas atas nilai terendah yang diberikan juri kepada penyanyi Cina, Gu Liya, 190, pada hari kedua lomba. Pada acara pemberian hadiah, Gu Liya memperoleh piagam penghargaan dari pemda Yurmala.

Shandy sering mendapat nilai 10 (sempurna) dari semua juri dan buat yang penasaran dengan kualitas suara dan penampilan Shandy silahkan liat sendiri di klip di atas ... thumbs up lah pokoknya....

The Offspring is an American pop pun band formed in Huntington Beach, California in 1984. The band is credited, along with fellow California punk bands Green Day and Rancid, with reviving mainstream interest in punk rock in the United States during the mid-1990s. To date, The Offspring has released eight studio albums, one compilation, four EPs and three DVDs. They have sold over 34 million albums worldwide, making them one of the best-selling punk rock acts of all time. Each album since the release of their final Epitaph album Smash has sold over a million units.

Since its formation, The Offspring's line-up has included Dexter Holland (lead vocals, guitar), Noodles (lead and rhythm guitars, backing vocals), Greg K. (bass, backing vocals), and Ron Welty (drums, percussion), who left in 2003. Their current drummer is Pete Parada, formerly of Face to Face, and Saves the Day, who has been with the band since 2007.

Since the release of their 1994 album Smash, which is the best-selling independent label album of all time, The Offspring has achieved commercial success over five albums, with singles such as "Come Out and Play", and "Self Esteem". The band's next three albums, Ixnay on the Hombre, Americana and Conspiracy of One, were also successful, with Ixnay on the Hombre and Conspiracy of One reaching platinum certification, and Americana achieving multi-platinum status. Longtime drummer Ron Welty left The Offspring in early 2003, and was replaced by Atom Willard. Later that year, the band released their next album, Splinter, to moderate sales and fairly warm reviews. In 2005, The Offspring released a greatest hits album and toured in support of the compilation. Their most recent studio album, Rise and Fall, Rage and Grace, was released on June 17, 2008 with the hit singles "You're Gonna Go Far, Kid" and "Hammerhead.".
